The rotary drum screen is divided into two parts, the upper part is steel plate, and the lower part is grid bar (raking slag part). Generally, the grating material is related to the water quality. It can be made of carbon steel in the river and rainwater pump station. In the sewage pump station and the sewage plant inlet pump room, the underwater part should be made of stainless steel, which can extend the service life.
Selection of rotary drum screen:
1. According to the width of the ditch
Generally, the working width of a single equipment is not more than 3m, and multiple equipment can be used if the working width exceeds 3m. If the ditch width is more than 10m, mobile trash remover shall be used, which is economical, reasonable and convenient for management.
2. According to the length of the ditch
Steel wire rope type equipment should be used when the trench is deeper than 7m, arc equipment and automatic solid-liquid screening machine should be used when the trench is shallower than 2m, and chain equipment should be used when the trench is shallower than 2m.
3. According to the nature of the pump station and the amount of sewage
For example, in the river water intake pump station and rainwater pump station, the coarse grid should be used. The sewage pump station should be equipped with medium grid equipment. In the inlet pump room of the sewage plant, the equipment suitable for medium and fine grids should be used. If the amount of dirt is large, equipment with large grab capacity or multiple buckets can be used.
4. Installation and host placement
The installation of the rotary drum screen can be divided into two types: complete installation and separate installation. Generally, the installation angle is 70 ° - 90 °. Most trash removers are suitable for inclined installation, and a few are suitable for vertical installation.
If the pump room covers a small area and the grid room is short, vertical equipment can be used to save land.
