Rotary drum screen is a device used for wastewater treatment, mainly for removing impurities and solid particles from fluids.

Job purpose: Rotary drum screen can continuously and effectively screen solid suspended solids in water, especially suitable for removing finer fibers, oily solids, and suspended solids with higher concentrations. It is widely applicable in various occasions that require solid-liquid separation, such as fine filtration or industrial screening processes for wastewater pretreatment in industries such as textile printing and dyeing, papermaking, agricultural products, food, and seafood processing.

Technical characteristics of rotary drum screen

Working principle: Sewage is transported by a water pump and enters the internal water distribution tank of the drum grille through the inlet pipe. It overflows by gravity and flows through the filtering surface of the drum grille. Larger solid objects or fibers are trapped in the rotating drum and, through the action of the internal spiral plate, gather and move to the outlet at one end of the drum, where they fall into the material tank. The drum is equipped with a backwash spray pipe that can run continuously or intermittently to remove impurities that may adhere to the drum surface and prevent clogging of the grid surface.

The equipment adopts internal water inlet, which is particularly suitable for the removal of fibrous waste in sewage. It should not be blocked and has a high removal rate.

The equipment adopts stainless steel orifice plates, which can be used for screening and filtering high temperature and high concentration liquids.

The device uses a self-cleaning backwash nozzle to clean the clogged dirt in the grid bars, and the backwash method can be set to adopt the most water-saving mode.
